Has character, beautiful location across the street from beach, boat landing/marina, pier and restaurants, and not far from State Street shopping/restaurants. Friendly staff.
A bit worn and frayed, noisy, small room, and facility/services may not warrant room rate, but it is an interesting old place, and it is all about location, location, location.

I loved this boutique hotel and stayed for 4 nights here. All the personnel was very friendly. - the breakfast had a good choice of options, including coffee and cheese. - Its location was the best possible and comfy, close to everything in Santa Barbara you want to see, and in a peaceful area.
